Strip Series

Based on the relationship between an actual couple, the Strip series deals with obsession on several levels. The light boxes suggest a voyeuristic photographer’s film hanging to dry. Printed on Japanese papers and phone book pages, these vertical strips are encased in encaustic medium. When displayed in groups horizontally, the effect is akin to a dark comic book or graphic novel. Each image in the series is also available as a single, matted print.
