INSECTS

Fragile and delicate, so small, so often overlooked and stepped on. They die trapped by spiders or during their brief break from pupa to flight. Yet when observed carefully how beautiful and strangely human.

This new series was conceived during a residency at Blue Mountain Center in the Adirondacks last summer. The work is still in progress and will be exhibited when completed at Morton Fine Art in Washington DC.
